On November 9, 2019, JTF hosted the Veterans Day Dodgeball Tournament at the Frostburg Armory. This was the 3rd year for tournament and JTF saw the biggest turnout so far. Eight teams participated in the tournament and the Armory was filled to the brim with spectators. In addition to dodgeball enthusiasts, Weekend Puppy Raisers from America’s Vetdogs’ program in WCI Cumberland attended.
JTF is happy to announce the charity that will benefit from our Veterans Day Dodgeball Tournament will be America’s VetDogs. America’s VetDogs provide service dogs to Veteran’s and First Responders free of charge. Locally, the organization conducts a puppy training program with the inmates at WCI in Cumberland
For a third year, JTF will be holding an adult dodgeball tournament. This year’s tournament will be held on Veterans Day Weekend on Saturday November 9th. Additionally, 10% of the profits will be donated to local Veterans Groups.
On September 18, 2018, JTF held a Dodgeball Tournament at the Frostburg Armory. Five teams comprosided of 33 participants from all over the Tri-State Region competed for cash prizes and the pride to be called champions.
The Joint Training Facility (JTF) was excited to be a first-time participant in the Northern Garrett High School After Prom this year. The After Prom Committee wished to change the entertainment options for the kids.
